What you will do

• Act as incident commander during live fraud attacks, coordinating containment, response, and escalation.
• Lead complex fraud investigations, identify root causes, and recommend permanent fixes.
• Build, tune, and monitor fraud detection rules, including backtesting and performance optimization.
• Conduct QA reviews on BPO partners, provide feedback, and maintain scoring frameworks.
• Develop and deploy AI-powered agents and automation to scale detection and investigation efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, ML, and Compliance teams on fraud strategies and reporting.

Requirements

• 3+ years in fraud detection, prevention, and investigation (financial services, payments, or e-commerce preferred)
• Experience leading complex investigations, root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Hands-on with building, implementing, and tuning fraud detection rules and backtesting.
• Strong knowledge of fraud typologies, crypto trends, and data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, BI).
• Excellent critical thinking, risk assessment, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with ownership of problems and solutions.

Nice to have

• Cryptocurrency or blockchain industry experience.
• Coding skills (SQL, Python) for analysis and automation.
• Experience with AI/ML fraud detection or blockchain analytics tools (Chainalysis, TRM Labs).
• QA oversight for BPO teams or chargeback processes.
