What you will do
- Lead strategies to reduce fraud losses across credit card lifecycle, emphasizing origination and first 30 days.
- Chair cross-functional Card Fraud Business Area with teams from operations, product, engineering, decision science, analytics, risk, compliance, and finance.
- Partner with Decision Science to evaluate performance, develop approaches, and acquire data sources.
- Own overall card fraud performance and financial targets across multiple programs.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Great executor in fast-moving organizations.
- Player/coach transitioning between tactical execution and strategy, as contributor and team builder.
- Strong relationship builder with influence across organization.
- Highly quantitative, data-driven decision maker.
- Fraud risk management experience in consumer lending; proven ownership of loss targets and digital origination strategies.
Nice to have
- Fintech or credit card experience.
- Success in matrixed organizations with data science/fraud analytics teams.
- Statistical modeling and machine learning principles.
- Knowledge of fraud data solutions (credit bureaus, network scores, digital identity).
- Vendor management and credit card transaction risk modeling.
- Experience with Fiserv Defense Edge platform.
