What you will do
- Support payroll operations across US, Canada, and Colombia, including data entry, reconciliation, and documentation.
- Assist with benefits enrollment, terminations, and employee lifecycle changes in HRIS and benefits platforms.
- Perform data quality checks and support payroll/benefits audits with documentation and variance reconciliation.
- Help with compensation benchmarking, vendor invoice management, and compliance with ERISA, ACA, FLSA, and Colombian labor law.
- Act as first point of contact for employee payroll, benefits, and compensation questions.
- Document processes, support leave administration, AI/automation initiatives, and ad-hoc projects for growth and expansion.
Requirements
- English proficiency (written and verbal) — must be able to collaborate with US-based teams daily
- Spanish fluency (native or near-native)
- Current university student or recent graduate in Finance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Ability to manage confidential information and work in fast-paced environment

- Basic understanding of Colombian payroll, taxation, and labor compliance
- Interest in AI, automation, and RegTech in People Operations
