Test Engineer

TL;DR

Test Engineer: Plan and facilitate mechanical testing on medical device components and assemblies with an accent on static strength and dynamic fatigue testing. Focus on reviewing requirements, creating fixtures, conducting tests, data analysis, and report generation.

Location: Onsite in Fort Wayne, IN 46808. U.S. Persons only due to ITAR export controls

What you will do

• Review customer test requirements and prepare testing plans
• Collaborate with designers and machinists to create test fixtures
• Set up and conduct mechanical tests on components and assemblies
• Work with technicians to document and monitor tests for accurate results
• Perform data analysis and generate test reports for customers

Requirements

• 2+ years hands-on experience in R&D or Quality testing environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hand tool proficiency
• Strong computing and technical writing skills
• U.S. Person status required (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR

Nice to have

• Servo-hydraulic load frame experience
• Medical device experience
• MTS test control software experience
• Experience in ISO quality management system
