Hardware Test Engineer III (MedTech)

What you will do

• Develop and execute device testing and verification plans in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Create detailed test plans, protocols, and scripts for embedded systems, including hardware, firmware, and software.
• Conduct functional, integration, system, and regression testing on hardware and firmware.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to troubleshoot and resolve product issues through root cause analysis.
• Ensure products meet industry safety and regulatory requirements, including FDA, CE, and 60601.
• Implement process improvements and test automation to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or MS with 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience writing technical specifications, requirements, test plans, and reports.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience with embedded software running on a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS).
• Proficiency in Python scripting.
• Experience with Git, JIRA, and GitHub platforms.
