NAS-410 Level II PT/MT/UTT/ET Technician (NDT)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama; must be local or willing to relocate to Huntsville. U.S. Persons only due to ITAR export-control requirements.

What you will do

• Perform non-destructive testing examinations according to procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Work toward or maintain NAS-410 Level II certification in PT, MT, UTT, and/or ET.
• Prepare written inspection instructions and organize examination results.
• Report findings and coordinate work scope and priorities with department managers and clients.
• Work independently, support team members, and complete additional assigned inspection tasks.

Requirements

• Certifiable to NAS-410 Level II in PT, MT, UTT, and/or ET.
• Entry-level trainees must have approved formal classroom hours in NDT; Level II recertification requires documented classroom and OJT/experience hours for each method.
• Prior military aviation NDI/NDT training and experience is accepted.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
• Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
• Must pass a drug screen and be able to work safely at heights, in confined spaces, around operating equipment, and with radiation and hazardous materials.

Nice to have

• Multiple NAS-410 certifications.
• Additional NDT certifications or experience in radiographic testing.
