NDT Level II X-ray Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Penrose, Colorado, with a transfer to Pueblo, Colorado. Applicants must be U.S. Persons eligible to obtain required export authorizations under ITAR/EAR.

Salary: $36–$42 per hour base pay.

What you will do

• Perform radiographic X-ray inspections of solid propellant grains and other critical components.
• Evaluate images and interpret results against engineering specifications, blueprints, and process instructions.
• Set up, calibrate, and complete daily quality checks on inspection equipment.
• Conduct radiation safety surveys and complete required annual safety training.
• Document findings and maintain historical quality records.
• Collaborate with engineering, technician, and production teams on quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Level II radiography certification under NAS410 Rev 6.
• At least 80 hours of formal classroom education in radiography.
• At least 1,000 hours of hands-on radiography experience.
• U.S. Person status and eligibility for required U.S. export authorizations.

Nice to have

• 40 hours of digital radiography classroom training and 200 hours of digital radiographic testing experience.
• Experience inspecting solid propellants or rubber components using digital radiography.
