Lead Security Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Lead Security Engineer (Fintech): Leading the SecOps team to protect a banking platform and its users from cyber threats with an accent on incident response and infrastructure hardening. Focus on defining the security roadmap, managing cloud and corporate IT security, and implementing mitigation tools.

Location: Hybrid (Amsterdam): Must be based in the Netherlands; 3 days in-office and 2 days remote weekly after an initial 3-month in-office period.

What you will do

• Lead the SecOps team responsible for detecting, investigating, and resolving security events.
• Collaborate with the CISO to define the security roadmap by identifying gaps and risks.
• Manage and harden core corporate infrastructure, including G-suite, AWS, and Okta.
• Secure the fleet of Apple endpoints using device management software.
• Own and maintain the end-to-end security posture of the bank.

Requirements

• Experience leading small, hands-on teams of Security Engineers.
• Practical expertise with SOC processes, incident response, and SIEM software.
• Deep knowledge of security best practices for cloud and corporate IT environments.
• Hands-on experience securing AWS, Okta, G-suite, and Apple endpoints.
• Fluent English proficiency for effective communication in a global team.
• Ability to work from the Amsterdam office according to the hybrid policy.
