Project Manager (Audio / Acoustics)

Project Manager (Audio / Acoustics): Lead cross-functional, multi-site teams through the full new product development lifecycle from concept to mass production with an accent on Gantt scheduling, budget management, and risk mitigation. Focus on coordinating engineering, operations, and manufacturing activities, developing work breakdown structures, and ensuring timeline adherence in a global environment.

Location: hirify.global office in Richardson, TX (minimum of 4 days a week). Ability to travel domestically and internationally (<10% of time).

Salary: $108,750 - $159,500

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams through NPD lifecycle from concept to production, adhering to gate reviews and development models.
• Develop and manage Gantt schedules with WBS, resource allocation, critical path, and tracking using MS Project.
• Prepare and control project budgets for prototypes, samples, and external services.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; negotiate and resolve conflicts to maintain momentum.
• Create responsibility matrices and charters; chair meetings and report to PMO and steering committee.
• Coordinate across engineering (HW/FW), operations, product management, software, and manufacturing; visit facilities to improve processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably engineering) with minimum 7 years of project management experience with engineering teams on acoustic/technical products in a transnational company.
• Knowledge of engineering concepts and deep understanding of new product lifecycle processes.
• Experience with Jira and Microsoft Project.
• Analytical, proactive decision-making, excellent communication and interpersonal skills for senior management.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, multitasking environment.
