TL;DR

Regional TIER 1 People Capability Centre Team Leader (HR Shared Services): Managing end-to-end employee lifecycle query resolution across multiple EMEA countries with an accent on Tier 1 support using Workday and ServiceNow. Focus on designing AI-driven workflows, optimizing service delivery, and driving operational excellence through automation and standardization.

Location: EMEA Hub offices in Hungary (Budapest, Pécs, Székesfehérvár) and Romania (Bucharest). Must work in EMEA Hub office with up to 20% international travel.

What you will do

  • Lead Tier 1 service delivery, resolving employee lifecycle and policy queries across the region.
  • Oversee Tier 1 Advisors, ensuring consistent policy application and high-quality support.
  • Drive technology-enabled model with Workday for transactions and ServiceNow for case management.
  • Design workflows, escalation paths, and AI-enabled mechanisms in partnership with HR Technology.
  • Monitor SLAs, KPIs, quality metrics, and employee satisfaction for Tier 1 operations.
  • Collaborate with Tier 0, COEs, and HRBPs to align services with business needs and promote self-service.

Requirements

  • Must work in EMEA Hub office (Hungary/Romania) with up to 20% international travel.
  • Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, policy interpretation, and GDPR compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS like Workday and ServiceNow, including AI/Chatbot support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Management, or related field.
  • 7–8 years in HR operations/shared services with multi-country Tier 1 experience.
  • Proven leadership in coaching HR teams, managing SLAs/KPIs, and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills for diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience implementing ServiceNow.
  • Starting up Tier 1 shared service teams.
  • Continuous Improvement certifications (Six Sigma, LEAN).
