What you will do

• Define and specify system architectural design for connectivity or telematics systems.
• Present system, hardware, and software concepts during RFI/RFQ phases internally and to customers.
• Lead technical presentations and workshops.
• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements impacting system architecture.
• Develop high-level and detailed system concepts, specifications, and functional safety architectures.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, mechanics, and manufacturing teams; guide architects and developers.

Requirements

• Fluent in both Japanese and English
• Bachelor or Master in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent
• 3+ years professional experience in architecture for connectivity/telematics systems
• Knowledge of system architecture styles, design principles, SoCs, MCUs, networks, HW/SW architectures
• Ability to abstract problems to architecture level and evaluate system impacts
• Basic skills in UML/SysML modeling tools and model-based system engineering

• Automotive domain knowledge, Tier-1 market dynamics
• FMEA, DFMEA
• German language
• Experience in infotainment, digital cockpit, ADAS, robotics, embedded systems
• Embedded OS (QNX, Linux, Android)
