What you will do

• Design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across the assigned territory in partnership with account teams.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and technical champion to build credibility with stakeholders and drive product adoption.
• Enable clients through technical workshops and the development of customer-facing thought leadership collateral.
• Influence the product roadmap by translating field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for R&D.
• Act as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges to ensure customer success in mission-critical environments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) expertise across engineering, product development, and pre-sales.
• 6+ years in customer-facing consulting or pre-sales roles influencing technical executives.
• Proficiency in programming, debugging, and problem-solving using SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience building solutions within major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Must be based in Tokyo, Japan.
