What you will do

• Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Oracle Linux servers (versions 7/8/9), including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Manage physical and virtual hardware like Dell and Nutanix servers using Nutanix Acropolis.
• Perform security patching with RHEL Satellite, monitor with Splunk ITSI, and handle Host Intrusion Detection alerts.
• Develop shell scripts (Ansible preferred) to automate repetitive processes and support users in issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP), storage, and backup systems at data center scale.
• Ensure Linux environments comply with cybersecurity audits and support AI/ML integration opportunities.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related + 8 years experience (or Master’s + 6 years)
• Advanced server OS knowledge, SME in Linux administration, mentoring ability
• Hands-on with enterprise servers, virtualization, networking, storage troubleshooting
• Azure experience (AZ104 or equivalent certification)
• Strong scripting, security compliance, and communication skills
