TL;DR
Support Engineer I: Deploy, install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and service client hardware and software including PCs, printers, and scanners with an accent on ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting service level agreements. Focus on diagnosing issues, providing timely updates, and collaborating with service desk and engineering teams.
Location: Onsite in Tupelo, MS, USA with travel to multiple local sites during work week (no overnight travel). Standard schedule Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm. Valid driver's license required.

What you will do
- Install, upgrade, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on PC components, printers, and scanners.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues using appropriate tools.
- Track, monitor, and document service incidents to meet SLAs, providing timely client updates.
- Communicate with clients verbally and electronically to schedule, update status, and confirm resolutions.
- Collaborate with Service Desk and System Engineering teams for complex incident resolution.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to improving support processes and tools.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-centric, professional attitude.
- Proficiency troubleshooting PC hardware/software, laptops, printers, and Microsoft products/tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities in fast-paced environment, and document duties thoroughly.
- Degree in Information Systems or Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience/training).
- Valid driver's license required; ability to lift up to 15 pounds and work occasional weekends/off-hours.
- CompTIA A+ preferred; other certifications like MCP, Server+, MCSA desirable.
