TL;DR
IOC Specialist (Service Desk): Monitoring infrastructure and resolving incidents in a fast-paced environment with an accent on alert analysis, incident classification, and system operations. Focus on operating Windows/Linux systems, network devices, IT services, and responding to security incidents while following SLA and ITSM processes.
Location: On-site, Mason/Cincinnati, OH, USA. Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday, 7:00am – 5:00pm EST.

What you will do
- Analyze and verify monitoring alerts for incident identification, classification, and prioritization.
- Create, improve, and maintain monitoring alerts using data correlation.
- Operate and maintain Windows Desktop/Server, Linux, network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
- Manage IT services including Active Directory, file systems, antivirus, backups.
- Respond to security incidents and investigations in collaboration with customers and IT providers, adhering to SLA and ITSM.
Requirements
- Fluent English (verbal and written).
- 1+ year experience in customer service monitoring operations.
- Good understanding of network fundamentals and internet protocols.
- ITSM foundation training required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong investigative, analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
