What you will do

  • Develop and execute Medical Affairs strategies and plans aligned with US brand needs for commercialized and late-stage assets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, scientific experts, and study sites; educate healthcare professionals on therapies.
  • Lead and manage Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team, including recruitment, onboarding, performance, and field coaching.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Clinical Development, and other teams to support launches, brand strategies, and clinical trial enrollment.
  • Provide medical input on promotional materials, patient advocacy, investigator-initiated research, and business insights.
  • Report activities and feedback to senior leadership including CEO.

Requirements

  • MD degree required
  • 5-10 years clinical practice; additional 5-10 years in clinical research, pharma, or related experience.
  • 5+ years Global or US Medical Affairs experience, preferably neuromuscular/rare diseases, with MSL team management.
  • Knowledge of biostatistics, epidemiology; understanding of pharma commercial operations.
  • Strong scientific, presentation, communication skills; strategic thinking; launch experience.
  • 60% travel required; work outside normal hours including weekends
