Medical Writer (Medical Communications)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 USD annually, plus a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Develop content outlines with clear story arcs and complete reference lists.
• Create client-ready slide decks, executive summaries, comprehensive summaries, and meeting materials.
• Conduct literature searches using appropriate strategies, keywords, journals, and medical research sources.
• Organize and annotate references according to client directives or house style.
• Collaborate with medical, legal, and regulatory teams during MLR review and implement required revisions.

Requirements

• Advanced science degree such as PharmD, MD, or PhD.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of multiple therapeutic areas, regulatory and scientific guidelines, and key statistical concepts.
• Strong scientific writing, data interpretation, content review, and research skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and reference-management software such as EndNote.
• Strong organization, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
