Sr Scientific Advisor, Medical Communications

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in the country where the role is posted.

Salary: $99,300–$248,300 annualized base pay, with potential incentives, bonuses, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and deliver scientific content, including publication and presentation materials, product and disease-state information, and content for multiple media formats.
• Review external scientific reports and clinical regulatory documents to support accurate and compliant content development.
• Partner with clients, internal scientists, external partners, and key opinion leaders to meet strategic objectives.
• Develop advisory board agendas and meeting materials, facilitate meetings when required, and communicate clinical and scientific insights.
• Collaborate with Client Services and Marketing on project delivery, proposals, pitch materials, market assessments, and scope changes.
• Provide project, client, and resource updates to the Head of Medical and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of medical communications agency experience.
• PhD preferred, or PharmD with a relevant concentration.
• Experience developing scientific platforms and a relevant therapeutic background.
• Strong knowledge of medical information resources and the ability to access and extract key information.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with strong organization, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to travel for client meetings, advisory boards, conferences, pitch presentations, and other business meetings as needed.
