What you will do

• Produce scientifically robust promotional content, including campaigns, brand narratives, detail aids, and digital assets.
• Ensure all materials strictly adhere to the ABPI Code of Practice and compliance requirements.
• Translate complex scientific data into clear, credible, and compelling promotional messages.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Creative, Digital, Editorial) and lead scientific discussions with clients.
• Navigate and lead the MLR review process, providing scientific justification for claims and responding to queries.
• Mentor junior writers and contribute to process excellence and best practices within the brand team.

Requirements

• PhD in a scientific discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in medical writing, ideally within a medical communications agency.
• Proven expertise in developing pharmaceutical promotional materials (Detail Aids, Leave Pieces, digital assets, congress materials).
• In‑depth understanding and practical application of the ABPI Code of Practice.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and reference‑management tools (e.g., EndNote).
• Must be based in the United Kingdom.

• Experience with literature databases such as PubMed.
