What you will do

  • Produce scientifically robust promotional content, including campaigns, brand narratives, detail aids, and digital assets.
  • Ensure all materials strictly adhere to the ABPI Code of Practice and meet compliance requirements.
  • Lead scientific discussions with clients and external experts during medical-legal-regulatory (MLR) review sessions.
  • Translate complex scientific data into clear, credible, and compelling promotional messages and claims.
  • Mentor junior writers and provide first-pass content reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with Account, Editorial, Creative, and Digital teams to ensure cohesive delivery of brand assets.

Requirements

  • PhD in a scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in medical writing, specifically within a medical communications agency focusing on pharma promotional materials.
  • Expertise in the practical application of the ABPI Code of Practice.
  • Proven ability to develop assets such as brand campaigns, leave pieces, and congress materials.
  • Proficiency in PubMed, EndNote, and MS Office suite.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and live events.
