TL;DR
GTM Analytics Analyst (Web Analytics): Implementing, verifying, and debugging conversion tracking and analytics setups for A/B testing on client websites with an accent on GTM management, Google Analytics GA4, and custom reporting. Focus on fixing issues across tools like VWO, Optimizely, Hotjar, and ensuring accurate data delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Location: Fully remote from Azerbaijan (Baku), must overlap at least 4 hours daily with EST (8 AM to 12 PM ET).

What you will do
- Implement conversion tracking for forms, buttons, e-commerce, and custom events.
- Verify and sanity-check tracking implementations.
- Debug and fix tracking issues across platforms.
- Check test measurements on Google Optimize, VWO, Optimizely, Hotjar.
- Create customized reports from Google Analytics and other data sources.
- Communicate with internal/external teams to gain buy-in, explain issues, and report progress.
Requirements
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- At least 2 years managing Google Tag Manager (GTM): implementation, coding, testing, maintenance.
- At least 2 years with Google Analytics (GA3/GA4), including UA to GA4 transitions.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, digital analytics, web traffic metrics.
- Good knowledge of web analytics strategy, requirements, implementation, validation, reporting.
- Working knowledge of third-party tagging, pixel creation; basic JavaScript.

- Experience with additional analytics tools or A/B testing platforms.
