Frontend Engineer (React)

TL;DR

Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript): Developing and optimizing the web clients for hirify.global Mail and Calendar with an accent on performance, usability, and end-to-end encryption. Focus on building scalable UI components, solving complex encryption-related frontend challenges, and improving user retention.

Location: Hybrid (Office First). Must be based in or near one of the office locations (Geneva, Zurich, Prague, Barcelona, Paris, London, Vilnius, Skopje, or Taipei). Work from home available up to 30% of the time.

What you will do

• Develop and deploy high-quality user experiences for hirify.global Mail and Calendar.
• Contribute to user onboarding and retention strategies to drive adoption.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product owners, and designers from ideation to completion.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure maintainability and performance optimization.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies across all layers to ensure reliability.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proficiency with React or similar frameworks for building reusable components.
• Experience contributing to API codebases (PHP knowledge is a bonus).
• Proven track record of writing tests at scale.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and code quality best practices.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience working in distributed teams.
• Awareness of OWASP top ten and client-side security mitigations.
• Experience with UX, accessibility, internationalization, and localization.
