What you will do

• Develop and maintain a library of 70+ reusable UI components using Preact and TailwindCSS.
• Create comprehensive Storybook documentation with interactive controls and usage guidance.
• Ensure full WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance across all components and themes.
• Collaborate directly with client stakeholders and product teams in daily standups.
• Validate implementation accuracy against Figma designs and contribute to build tooling improvements.
• Explore and integrate AI-assisted development workflows to enhance productivity.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Preact or React (hooks, functional components).
• Strong proficiency in TailwindCSS, responsive design, and semantic HTML/CSS.
• Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, ARIA).
• Experience with Storybook for component documentation and testing.
• Confident communication skills for client-facing collaboration and requirement gathering.
• Must be based in the UK and able to work in a hybrid model in London.

Nice to have

• Experience building design systems or component libraries.
• Familiarity with Webpack configuration and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of A/B testing platforms like Sitecore or Optimizely.
• Interest in AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
