Senior Infrastructure Engineer — IDC / Bare-Metal Kubernetes (Web3)

What you will do

• Design rack layout, network topology, and overall configuration for colocation data centers.
• Implement isolated Out-of-Band (OOB) management networks (BMC, IPMI, Redfish) with security hardening.
• Build bare-metal automation for fleet-wide zero-touch OS provisioning using MAAS, Tinkerbell, or Cluster API.
• Deploy and maintain production-grade self-hosted Kubernetes clusters, managing the core stack including Cilium and ArgoCD.
• Establish hybrid-cloud interconnects (VPN, Direct Connect, peering) between IDC and public clouds.
• Enable scale-out capabilities for GPU workloads (NVIDIA GPU Operator) and VM workloads via KubeVirt.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data center, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience building physical infrastructure from scratch, including server commissioning and vendor coordination.
• Practical expertise in designing and operating OOB management networks.
• Ability to independently stand up and debug production-grade self-hosted Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong Linux systems administration skills, including kernel and networking performance tuning.
• Fluent in English or Mandarin.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-density racks (30kW+) and 400G+ networking.
• Familiarity with immutable OS such as Talos Linux, Flatcar, or Bottlerocket.
• Proficiency across AWS and GCP with cross-cloud data migration experience.
• Exposure to NVIDIA GPU Operator and K8s GPU workloads.
• Professional-level Japanese.
