Location: Remote (Must be based in Colombia, Latin America, or South Africa). Working hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST.

Salary: $1,000 - $1,400 per month

What you will do

• Answer incoming calls and respond to urgent client inquiries professionally and calmly.
• Conduct structured intake interviews for criminal defense matters, gathering detailed and accurate case information.
• Enter, update, and manage client data in case management software such as Filevine or Clio.
• Assess urgency and ensure critical matters are escalated appropriately.
• Schedule follow-ups and maintain consistent communication with prospective and active clients.
• Provide receptionist support, including call routing and email responses.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in legal intake, criminal defense case management, or receptionist roles within a US law firm.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Experience using Filevine, Clio, or similar legal case management systems.
• Ability to remain empathetic, calm, and professional when handling distressed or urgent callers.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple calls and tasks simultaneously.
• Must be based in Colombia, Latin America, or South Africa.
