Senior Accountant (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage daily bookkeeping in accordance with the Swedish Accounting Act (Bokföringslagen).
• Handle monthly balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
• Prepare year-end closing (Bokslut) and draft the initial figures for the Annual Report (Årsredovisning).
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare the necessary audit file (revisionsakt).
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, including customer aging and invoice issuance.
• Bridge the gap between local Swedish standards (K3) and IFRS for group reporting.

Requirements

• Solid experience in accounting, specifically handling Swedish entities within a group setting.
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and SUMIFS for large datasets.
• Proven experience with K3 and a good understanding of Swedish audit requirements.
• Strong knowledge of debit and credit principles.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Copenhagen office.

• Experience with Microsoft Business Central.
