What you will do
- Manage end-to-end payroll for 500+ employees across Australia, UK, Germany, Japan, Philippines, and South Africa.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4 payroll and compensation specialists based in Manila.
- Oversee payroll execution across both direct employment and Employer of Record (EOR) models.
- Ensure strict compliance with local tax, labor, and regulatory requirements across all operating countries.
- Identify and implement process optimizations and automation to increase payroll scalability and accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with People, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure data integrity and seamless employee lifecycle processes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive experience in global payroll and compensation management.
- Demonstrated experience managing payroll in Australia, UK, Germany, Japan, Philippines, and South Africa.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing remote teams.
- Deep understanding of international payroll compliance, employment tax, and statutory benefits.
- Proficiency with Deel, Employment Hero, BambooHR, and advanced Excel.
- Experience working with EOR providers across multiple jurisdictions.
