What you will do

• Establish application architecture guidelines for software modularity, communication patterns, and common services.
• Ensure consistent design using standardized layering, interfaces, and reusable components to improve maintainability.
• Collaborate with application and platform teams to identify shared libraries and create test suites.
• Build prototypes to test architectural ideas and provide hands-on support to resolve technical issues.
• Provide team mentorship, focusing on strategy and alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software design and development of complex systems.
• Demonstrated experience in RTOS/Linux software development, specifically with real-time systems like FreeRTOS.
• High level of proficiency in C, C++, and testing frameworks such as Google Test.
• Strong scripting capabilities in Python and Bash, along with advanced debugging skills.
• Advanced Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Must be able to work onsite five days a week in Mossville, IL.

Nice to have

• Exposure to CI/CD systems including GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
