What you will do

• Design and execute complex experiments to support research, feasibility, and product qualification efforts.
• Lead technical teams and coordinate the work of other team members to achieve project goals.
• Analyze scientific data using statistical software (GraphPad Prism) and prepare reports to highlight findings.
• Troubleshoot and optimize experimental procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage direct reports' performance, set objectives, and provide continuous feedback.
• Prepare invention disclosures, patent applications, and scientific papers.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Engineering or related field preferred (Master's or Bachelor's considered with significant experience).
• Minimum of 6 years of laboratory experience.
• Training and experience with BSL-2 techniques required.
• Proven experience in supervisory or management roles.
• Proficiency in GraphPad Prism, MS Excel, and advanced statistics.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Gaithersburg, MD, USA.

Nice to have

• Two years of immunoassay development experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong publication record.
• Postdoctoral or additional industrial experience.
