What you will do
- Design, build, and test reliable and scalable data pipelines for machine learning.
- Manipulate and explore 3D point cloud and mesh data to enable geometry-aware modeling.
- Translate R&D results and project outputs into reusable libraries, tooling, and software products.
- Collaborate with simulation engineers and customers to define and solve complex physics and engineering challenges.
- Establish and improve engineering best practices and standards within the delivery team.
- Manage the deployment of technical workstreams and create analytics environments in cloud or on-premise setups.
Requirements
- US citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of aerospace and defense work.
- 2+ years of industry experience (post Masters or PhD) in a commercial environment.
- Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and MLFlow.
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Spark or Dask.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Background in Physics, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
