What you will do

• Serve as Sr. Platform Engineer, creating capability and feature designs aligned with program objectives.
• Execute Agile development with Scrum Master to deliver cloud-enabled capabilities on schedule.
• Support delivery and selloff of work to customers for technical acceptance.
• Maintain technical roadmap for DevOps practices, cloud-native architectures, and COTS solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, cloud services, and trends to improve platform, security, and team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Active and transferable DoD TS/SCI with CI Poly required on day 1; willing to obtain CI Poly after start; US citizenship required
• BS/BA in STEM (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or Physics) + 5 years related experience
• Proven experience installing, configuring, maintaining RedHat Linux
• Hands-on with designing, implementing, integrating cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)
• Experience with infrastructure automation: Terraform, Ansible, Chef
• Working knowledge of CI/CD (Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, Helm)
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE)
• Effective communication of complex technical concepts

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of servers, networking, storage, virtualization
• Advanced troubleshooting of Linux platforms and infrastructure
• Scripting: Python, Bash for automation
• DevOps framework with security integration
• Advanced AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC)
• Kubernetes, Docker/Podman
• CI/CD pipeline integration for app teams
• COTS/FOSS in secured environments
