TL;DR
Site Reliability Engineer (DevSecOps): Develop, scale, and operate cloud services for a SaaS platform with an accent on security, availability, performance, and automation. Focus on building robust DevSecOps frameworks, monitoring systems, incident response, capacity planning, and infrastructure reliability under high loads.
Location: 100% remote, must be US citizen/permanent resident (Green card OK), capable of obtaining Government Security clearance if required, and live/work from the US. H1B or other work visas do not qualify.
Salary: $150,000–$175,000 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain frameworks for monitoring, automation, and code to enhance scalability and reliability.
- Assist internal and customer-facing teams with software deployments, VPN, and security infrastructure.
- Resolve service and customer issues, participate in incident response and blameless postmortems.
- Automate manual tasks like user provisioning in production and test environments.
- Work in a small agile team to improve SRE software, support peers, and self-improve.
- Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays, for server support.
Requirements
- US citizen/permanent resident, live/work from US, no H1B/other visas.
- Excellent US English communication for global team.
- Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure, automation, and scalable/secure deployments.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps tools: monitoring (ELK, CloudWatch), IaC (Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform).
- Shell scripting (Bash), Python; programming in Python/Go/Java; CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab CI).
- 2+ years in Infrastructure/DevOps/SRE in SaaS/cloud; 2+ years Kubernetes/Linux in public cloud; AWS/GCP/Azure certified.
- Bachelor's in CS/Engineering or equivalent; networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
