What you will do

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions (ASC 740).
• Support the preparation of tax-related financial disclosures for 10-K and 10-Q reports.
• Coordinate U.S. federal and state income tax filings, including Canadian filings, with external advisors.
• Collaborate with FP&A to support tax forecasting and planning.
• Manage responses to tax authority requests and support external audit documentation.
• Maintain SOX-compliant tax processes and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or Master’s in Tax preferred).
• 6–10 years of experience in corporate income tax with specific exposure to ASC 740 and U.S. compliance.
• Experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or within a multinational corporate environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP); experience with CorpTax is a plus.
• Must be based in Reno or Las Vegas, Nevada.
