What you will do

• Own product compliance function, advising Product team from ideation to post-launch on federal/state regulations for lending, BNPL, and payments.
• Champion AI/RegTech tools for regulatory monitoring, product reviews, audit trails, and scaling compliance across the portfolio.
• Conduct regulatory risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and translate requirements into product specs, acceptance criteria, and controls.
• Lead compliance reviews/sign-offs for features involving disclosures, credit reporting, payments, marketing, and data use.
• Oversee post-launch monitoring, issue tracking, reporting to leadership, and training programs for product teams.
• Foster culture treating compliance as a competitive advantage through responsible product design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Law, Business, or related; J.D. preferred
• 8+ years compliance leadership in fintech/banking/financial services
• Hands-on experience with AI/RegTech tools for compliance workflows
• Strong knowledge of TILA/Reg Z, FCRA, EFTA/Reg E, ECOA/Reg B, UDAAP, TCPA, state laws, BNPL regs
• Experience with regulatory exams/audits; agile product environments
• Analytical skills for risk assessment; organizational skills in fast-paced settings
• Proficiency in Office/Google Workspace/AI tools
