Field Engineer - Dallas, TX

What you will do

• Assist with daily reports, scopes of work, job walks, project buyout, procurement of subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare AutoCAD as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and support bid negotiations.
• Develop detailed line-item takeoffs, pricing, and enter data into estimating software.
• Prepare bid documents, assemble subcontractor quotes, track payments, and handle subcontracts.
• Help develop and maintain project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ guidelines, OSHA, and local safety requirements; drive between project sites.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify).
• Some experience in construction with commercial or industrial general contractor.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods; blueprint reading a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field highly desired.
• Strong adaptability, integrity, teamwork, communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam; experience with estimating, design, scheduling software desired.
• Ability to walk uneven terrain, lift up to 25 pounds, and handle physical demands of construction sites.
