TL;DR
Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (Cybersecurity): Protecting and defending critical enterprise and mission IT infrastructures with an accent on securing multi-classification architectures and cloud environments. Focus on implementing policy-based protections, leading RMF accreditation, and performing penetration testing on classified Federal systems.
Location: On-site in Chantilly, VA. Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.

What you will do
- Secure enterprise IT infrastructures across various operating systems, networks, and web/database applications.
- Harden storage, boundary devices, and monitoring solutions within cloud environments (C2S) and classified enclaves.
- Implement policy-based protections for data flows and network boundaries across complex, multi-classification architectures.
- Lead RMF security certification and accreditation activities and develop required security documentation.
- Perform penetration testing, red/blue team exercises, and compliance assessments of classified Federal systems.
- Brief technical risks and mitigation options to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or information assurance.
- Proven experience securing cloud environments (AWS/C2S/Azure) and classified enclaves.
- Expertise in network boundary protection and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and red/blue team methodologies.
- Possess and maintain relevant professional certification (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+, or DoD 8140/8570.01-M).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with DataBricks, GitLab, or Jira for security workflows.
- Experience with advanced logging and monitoring tools like Splunk or ELK stack.
- Knowledge of Spark or other big data technologies within secure environments.
- Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Previous experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) customers.
