What you will do

• Lead and coordinate a team of prototyping technicians in the rapid development of next-generation systems.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee prototype builds to ensure alignment with project timelines and engineering goals.
• Act as the key interface between engineering, testing, and production teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure high-quality assembly, integration, and validation of prototypes from early concepts to functional demonstrators.
• Establish and continuously improve prototyping workflows, tools, and best practices for speed and reliability.
• Mentor team members, fostering technical growth and a strong ownership mindset.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in prototyping, system integration, or test environments, ideally in aerospace or robotics.
• Proven experience leading or coordinating technical teams in fast-paced development settings.
• Solid understanding of multidisciplinary systems (mechanical, electrical, and basic software integration).
• Ability to translate engineering concepts into practical build and test solutions.
• Experience with agile development processes and iterative prototyping cycles.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Gilching, Germany.
