TL;DR

IT Service Desk Support Engineer (Fintech): Deliver frontline IT support across Windows, macOS, mobile devices, AV systems, and Office 365 with an accent on troubleshooting, onboarding new starters, and proactive equipment checks. Focus on resolving critical issues, meeting SLAs, collaborating with IT teams, and contributing to automation and AI-driven improvements.

Location: Hybrid in London (Canary Wharf) office 2-3 days a week (or 4 days per week). Option to work from abroad up to 120 days per year, subject to right to work in the country of choice.

What you will do

  • Deliver efficient IT support to users in person and remotely, owning tickets and meeting SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot issues on Windows, macOS, mobile devices, AV systems, Office 365, and endpoint tools.
  • Perform proactive checks on meeting room AV and workspace technology.
  • Manage local IT stock and provide first-class onboarding for new starters.
  • Collaborate with IT, InfoSec, and engineering teams to resolve complex problems.
  • Contribute to team initiatives for productivity, automation, and AI enhancements.

Requirements

  • Experience in SME/enterprise IT service desk support.
  • Customer-first communication, adapting to technical and non-technical users.
  • Comfortable prioritizing issues and supporting Windows and Mac.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta, Zoom, Jamf, Jira, Confluence.
  • Understanding of ITIL practices (Incident, Change, Problem).
  • Awareness of cybersecurity, remote support, and endpoint management.

Nice to have

  • Experience with enterprise AV systems like Neat or Cisco.
  • Knowledge of identity management tools like Okta.
  • Mobile device management via Jamf, Intune, or Tanium.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
