Product Designer II

TL;DR

Product Designer II (UX/UI): Designing human-centered digital experiences for infrastructure software ecosystem with an accent on user needs, interaction design, and visual interfaces across cloud and desktop applications. Focus on conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating with product managers and engineers to deliver intuitive solutions solving complex customer problems.

Location: Home-based, hybrid, or office-based in Canada (Saskatoon preferred). Requires 1 trip per year.

What you will do

• Champion human-centered design, advocate for user needs, and facilitate cross-functional workshops.
• Conduct user research, create personas, journey maps, user flows, and wireframes to define problems.
• Design wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, prototypes, and interactions aligned with design systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to test ideas, provide feedback, and implement designs.
• Contribute to design systems, QA processes, and stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements

• 4+ years of product design experience across cloud and desktop applications with comprehensive portfolio.
• Deep understanding of human-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, and UI design.
• Proficiency in Figma, Miro, Google Analytics or similar research tools, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with agile methodologies, strong communication, relationship management, and stakeholder advocacy.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic/Visual Communications, Interaction Design, or equivalent.
