Agile Test Engineer

TL;DR

Agile Test Engineer: Verify newly developed functionalities in products for private sector and large customers through automated and manual testing with an accent on defect identification, tracking, and fix verification. Focus on maintaining automated testing frameworks, preparing test environments, and documenting QA processes across Windows, Linux, and MacOS.

Location: Bratislava (onsite, primary location)

Salary: from 2500 EUR (brutto, monthly) + performance bonus up to 10%

What you will do

• Cooperate with Software Engineers to verify new functionalities.
• Identify and track defects using automated/manual testing and bug tracking tools.
• Prepare testing environments with System Engineers.
• Maintain and extend automated testing frameworks.
• Create and maintain QA documentation for product functionalities.
• Participate in scrum meetings, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software testing experience.
• Scripting knowledge in Bash and/or Python.
• Experience with Robot Framework or similar.
• Experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
• Critical thinking, willingness to learn, good communication skills.
• Ability to understand technical details and write documentation in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansible, virtualization, containerization.
• Understanding of agile principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Windows administration and PowerShell scripting.
• Git and Git-based platforms like BitBucket.
• Familiarity with AI tools.
• ISTQB certification.
