What you will do

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, leveraging GCP technologies and patterns to solve complex technical challenges.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to platform engineers to foster a culture of innovation.
• Design highly available, cloud-native platforms tailored to specific customer requirements.
• Advise customers on modern architecture techniques, including microservices, serverless, and 12-factor applications.
• Develop internal tooling to improve the efficiency and capabilities of the wider Platform Team.
• Collaborate with Pre-sales teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and delivery plans.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with a major cloud provider, specifically GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong production experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including deep knowledge of container orchestration.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
• Expert-level understanding of Linux operating systems (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS) and system troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or ArgoCD.
• Ability to write production-quality software in at least one language such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.

Nice to have

• Experience working with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud security frameworks, including HashiCorp Vault and IAM best practices.
