Senior Software Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Azure/Kubernetes): Design, build, and evolve core components of iModel Cloud Sync Services that ingest, transform, and synchronize engineering data into the iTwin platform with an accent on distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native technologies. Focus on implementing ETL pipelines, workflow orchestration, resilience patterns, and observability for global multi-tenant deployments.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based synchronization and ETL services transforming engineering data into iModels.
• Build distributed, event-driven microservices using Azure, Kubernetes, containers, and messaging.
• Develop workflow orchestration with state-driven execution, retries, and long-running tasks.
• Implement data pipelines for parsing, validation, transformation, schema management, and versioning.
• Apply resilience patterns like retries, circuit breakers, concurrency control, and idempotency.
• Ensure observability with logging, metrics, tracing; participate in CI/CD, reviews, and production issue resolution.

Requirements

• Based in Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania (office/hybrid)
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years in software engineering with distributed/cloud systems.
• Strong experience with Azure, microservices, containers, Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with ETL pipelines, workflow/event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in C# or similar; understanding of observability, CI/CD, reliability.
