TL;DR

Tier 3 Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer - SD-WAN Engineer (Networking): Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain SD-WAN infrastructure and services for Premier Managed Service customers with an accent on advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and network performance optimization. Focus on leading network projects, mentoring Tier 1/2 technicians, and ensuring operational quality through security audits and incident resolution.

What you will do

  • Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain SD-WAN infrastructure and monitor network performance.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and permanent solutions for complex network issues.
  • Lead network projects including firmware updates, patches, vulnerabilities, and documentation.
  • Serve as highest escalation point for SD-WAN and network technologies, collaborating with vendors and teams.
  • Mentor Tier 1/2 technicians and manage tickets, SLAs, change requests, and security audits.
  • Support voice/data customers and coordinate remote field engineer dispatches.

Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Extensive experience with SD-WAN technologies and CCNP-level proficiency
  • Minimum 5 years in NOC or similar environment, with shift/on-call rotations
  • Strong knowledge of IP/Optical networks (IPv4/IPv6, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, Ethernet, DWDM, SDH, DNS, SNMP, IPSec)
  • Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Ability to work independently/team, prioritize tasks, and document in ticketing systems

Nice to have

  • CCNP certification or equivalent (Palo Alto PCNSA/PCCSA, Juniper JNCNA, Fortinet FCA)
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related
  • Experience with carrier data/voice services, Sonus SBC, Netsapiens, call routing, packet analysis tools
