People Operations Intern (HR)

What you will do

• Coordinate onboarding processes and manage new hire documentation.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs.
• Support internal communications and culture-driven initiatives through the culture committee and employee resource groups.
• Maintain and organize employee records and HR files via HRIS and shared drives.
• Manage interview scheduling, resume screening, and applicant tracking system (ATS) workflows.
• Contribute to HR reporting, process documentation, and policy updates.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in New York City.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
