Salary: $150,000 - $225,000

What you will do

• Build and maintain services powering 270/271 benefit estimate requests and responses.
• Develop performant claims adjudication integrations at scale.
• Own and improve claims processing pipelines for accuracy, reliability, and throughput.
• Write documentation for API contracts, data flows, and integrations.
• Manage data with performant queries across PostgreSQL, Redis, and BigQuery.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on healthcare workflows.

Requirements

• 4+ years building, owning, and maintaining backend services
• 2+ years writing Go
• Strong SQL skills, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience with Redis and BigQuery (or similar)
• Designing and building RESTful or gRPC APIs
• Thorough testing strategies
• Docker/Kubernetes
• Google Cloud Platform

Nice to have

• gRPC/Protobuf experience
• Health insurance or claims processing experience
• 270/271 transactions or healthcare EDI
• Terraform/Terraform Cloud
• Python proficiency
