What you will do

• Act as the front-line of the Security Operations Centre, handling day-to-day incidents and mentoring junior analysts.
• Execute the full incident response process for critical security alerts, including containment, eradication, and post-incident analysis.
• Develop and implement security monitoring and detection logic (e.g., SIEM rules) to reduce MTTD.
• Conduct proactive security exercises, such as penetration tests and red teaming, to harden the digital estate.
• Collaborate across the team to refine detection logic and automate workflows via tools like Tines.
• Maintain the resilience and security of all hirify.global systems, data, and critical infrastructure.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in SOC operations and a proven track record of managing security alerts in high-pressure environments.
• Specialist knowledge in Incident Response and the ability to lead recovery with technical precision.
• Offensive mindset with experience in Penetration Testing or Red Teaming to anticipate adversary tactics.
• Experience with security tools such as Google Chronicle, Crowdstrike, Jira, Sublime, and Tines.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not provided.
