An established manufacturing organisation with a large operational site.
What you will do
- Lead site-wide health, safety, hygiene, and environmental management systems and policies.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant UK legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Maintain ISO 14001 accreditation and act as the principal lead for audits and regulators.
- Manage risk assessments, COSHH, SSOW, and permits to work in collaboration with production and engineering teams.
- Oversee waste management, recycling programmes, and carbon footprint sustainability reporting via KPIs.
- Lead HSE inductions, ongoing training programmes, and investigations into incidents or near misses.
Requirements
- Proven HSE management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UK HSE and environmental legislation.
- NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications.
- Experience supporting ISO 14001 and environmental management systems.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
- Must be based in or able to commute to Rotherham, UK.
