What you will do

• Own the UX vision and strategy for the CAD portfolio, ensuring balance between power, precision, and usability.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a world-class team of designers and researchers to solve deeply technical problems.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering leaders to ensure UX is embedded in strategy, roadmaps, and technical decisions.
• Drive user research and usability testing to make expert workflows faster, clearer, and more intuitive.
• Own and evolve the CAD design system, interaction standards, and experience principles.
• Communicate UX strategy, insights, and outcomes to senior leadership as a strategic driver of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in UX design with meaningful leadership responsibility.
• Proven success leading UX for complex technical software such as CAD, PLM, or similar engineering tools.
• Deep understanding of designing for expert users and performance-sensitive applications.
• Strong ability to influence product and engineering partners at senior levels.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD, PLM, simulation, or manufacturing software.
• Background or strong exposure to engineering, industrial design, or human factors.
• Experience with desktop applications and hybrid desktop/cloud environments.
• Interest or experience in AI-assisted workflows and design automation.
