Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud)

What you will do

• Architect and manage highly available cloud environments across AWS and Azure using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and CDK.
• Lead production Kubernetes workloads in EKS/AKS, including upgrades, networking, and autoscaling.
• Act as the Linux subject matter expert, configuring and troubleshooting NGINX, MariaDB, and Redis from the kernel up.
• Scale and tune data and caching tiers including MariaDB/Galera clusters, Redis, Memcached, and Elasticsearch.
• Engineer CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps using Python and Bash scripting.
• Drive observability, security hardening, and participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation.

Requirements

• Must be located within the United States.
• Senior-level experience in platform engineering or DevOps within multi-tenant or high-scale environments.
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS and Azure (multi-cloud); GCP or Oracle Cloud is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Linux system tuning, hardening, and deep-level troubleshooting.
• Proven experience managing production-grade Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) and data services.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash for relentless automation.
