What you will do

  • Establish the Turkey recruiting function, including defining team structure and hiring 2–4 recruiters.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the regional recruiting team while maintaining high performance standards.
  • Execute full-cycle recruiting for highly technical and non-technical roles using the MEI (Merit, Excellence, Intelligence) philosophy.
  • Design and optimize TA processes, frameworks, and tooling to drive quality of hire.
  • Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers and business leaders to build proactive talent pipelines.
  • Track and report key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and quality of hire to People leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a track record of leading recruiting teams in tech or fintech.
  • Proven experience recruiting for highly technical IT roles (software engineers, data, infrastructure).
  • Ability to build or significantly improve a recruiting function from scratch.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
  • Fluency in Turkish and solid knowledge of Turkish labor law.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with US-headquartered or globally distributed companies.
  • Background in high-growth startup environments characterized by ambiguity and speed.
  • Familiarity with structured candidate assessments and psychometric tools.
  • Ability to use data dashboards to influence resource planning and leadership decisions.
